This fragment of a fluted stone column comes from Byrsa Hill, the ancient citadel of Carthage. Once the political and religious heart of the city, Byrsa later housed monumental Roman architecture, leaving behind fragments like this one. This 3D scan was created using Scaniverse and is part of the Tanit XR digital preservation initiative to document and share Tunisia’s endangered heritage in 3D.  Coordinates: 36.85279, 10.32386 .
