Nick Kaufmann is a community builder and multidisciplinary practitioner working across digital and physical space. He facilitates events, workshops and partnerships that help both neighborhood-based and online communities engage with space and place, using a range of traditional and emerging media and technology. He leads partnerships and ecosystem at inCitu, a New York XR startup focused on community engagement with the built environment, and draws on a background in social science, games and XR, urban placemaking, and civic technology. He is a former Fulbright Fellow, WEF Global Shaper, Code for America Brigade captain, Mozilla Open Leader, and serial TEDx organizer.
